Cbank: Russians' inflationary expectations rise to 10.1% in March

MOSCOW, Mar 25 (PRIME) -- Russians’ inflationary expectations for the next 12 months increased by 0.2 percentage points to 10.1% in March, the central bank said in a statement on Thursday.

“The median estimate of inflation expected in the next 12 months amounted to 10.1% (+0.2 percentage points compared to February),” the regulator said.

Russians' inflationary expectations have been growing since August 2020 and reached 11.5% in December. Starting from January, the expectations decreased, reaching 9.9% in February.
